Bobtail Squid

Initially an entry for simplecg's monthly challenge, the squid was modeled and rendered as a looping gif with no texture work. I then took the same model and created more realistic textures to push it in a different direction. Shown here are examples of the same model rendered in Blender Freestyle, Cycles, and then real-time in Sketchfab.
